Lynda Online Courses Are Becoming LinkedIn Learning!

Today is #DigitalLearningDay and we have big news! Our Lynda online class offerings are transitioning to LinkedIn Learning on March 10th! The majority of the content will be the same, but the way you access it and they way it looks will be changing!

According to LinkedIn Learning’s website, patrons will now have access to the following:

  • Over 16,000 courses in 7 different languages
  • An updated, easier-to-use interface
  • Their previous course history from Lynda.com
  • Authentication/log in via library card and PIN without the need for a LinkedIn profile

LinkedIn Learning for Library includes courses in English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin, and Portuguese, as well as many other technical, business, and software courses.

LinkedIn Learning is working towards ensuring the LinkedIn Learning mobile application will also work for Library patrons. In the meantime, you will be able to explore content through your mobile web browser.

Patrons only need a library card number and PIN to access content. A LinkedIn account is NOT required, though there are perks to connecting an account to LinkedIn Learning, such as the ability to display courses and quizzes taken using LinkedIn Learning on your LinkedIn profile.
