Why Volunteering with Freedge Matters to Me
Giving my time to the Freedge project has been an incredibly rewarding experience—not just because it helps the community, but because it has also enriched my own life. Volunteering has allowed me to connect with people who share my values and goals, which has been especially meaningful since I work from home most of the time. Being part of something bigger than myself is refreshing, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.
Helping out with Freedge has given me a unique perspective on the power of teamwork and the impact of small actions. Every Friday, when I stock the fridge with donations from PeaceHealth, I feel a deep sense of fulfillment knowing that a few more families will have meals because of our collective efforts. It’s a simple yet powerful act, and it makes me proud to play even a small part in something so meaningful.
If you’re looking for a way to give back, connect with others, and make a difference, I encourage you to get involved with Freedge. It’s an experience like no other.
