Haley
Children's Librarian
Part of the team since 2021.
One of my passions is encouraging a lifelong love of learning among our youngest patrons, and helping to cultivate a space that invites creativity and imagination. As the Children’s Librarian, I get to plan lots of fun storytimes, crafts, and other activities for kids and families! If there is a particular activity or subject your family is interested in, I am always open to suggestions and will do my best to incorporate your requests into programming. If you have any questions about youth programs, materials in the kids’ room, or early childhood education, send them my way! Additionally, if you work with an organization that serves youth and families and want to partner with the library, let’s discuss ways we can work together to serve our community.
I am also responsible for ordering and cataloging new items for the children’s collection, including much more than books: We have an array of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) kits that circulate, DVDs, educational tablets, and more! If there is a new skill you want to develop or a topic you want to explore, please let me know, and I will do my best to help you discover a variety of resources to empower your learning.
When I’m not doing programming or collection development projects, I do a lot of behind-the-scenes tasks to help keep the library running smoothly and expand our impact. Some of these tasks include writing grants, promoting the library at outreach events, and pursuing professional development/networking opportunities to gain inspiration and learn new skills.

Tina (she/her)
Collection Specialist
Part of the team since 2020.
The Collection Specialist is the person who is mainly in charge of taking care of our materials! I help get materials ready for checkout, repair materials when they’re damaged, and weed or get rid of materials that no longer have a place at the library. I also help keep the library organized by making sure that office supplies are organized and ordered when needed, that the plants get watered, that program supplies are organized, and more! I also help the Library Technology Assistants by providing circulation services like registering new patrons for library cards, checking materials in and out, reshelving books and keeping the stacks orderly, helping with readers advisory, and other reference duties. I also help with coming up with and putting together children’s crafts and helping plan programming!
Talk to me about...

Kenny (he/him)
Library Technology Assistant
Part of the team since 2025.
As a Library Technology Assistant my focus is public assistance – helping people check books in and out, use our computer lab, print and copy items, and more. I also am the resident expert in D&D and I help with the teen and Adult programs by DMing and advising players on game mechanics and setting up characters. When not at the desk or at the D&D table, I’m helping other staff with their projects, such as weeding or setting up for and running programs.
