Calling all young artists! We're working with Central Skagit Library, Anacortes Public Library, Burlington Public Library, and Mount Vernon Library Commons to create another edition of the Skagit Sketches Art Anthology!
We want to see your creations! We’re putting together our annual collection of artwork and writing created by kids and teens like you. Submit your artwork or writing for a chance to show off your amazing creations! The submissions will be gathered into a printed anthology and displayed at Central Skagit Library for a special showcase event and the final anthology will be available in each library for checkout after publication. Submissions are accepted between now and July 31 and the showcase event will be in October. Stop by the library for a submission form or email c[email protected] for a digital version.
Quick Facts:
- Youth in grades 1-12 (or age equivalent) can participate
- Submissions can be art or writing (please see full details on submission form)
- Submissions accepted from June 1st-July 31st at any of the participating libraries seen above
- Showcase event will be Friday, October 24th from 5:30-7pm at Central Skagit Library!
