FOLLOW UP INFORMATION FROM THE WSDOT SR 20 Skagit O’Brian Reach Feasibility Study Community Workshop Meeting

Our friends at WSDOT wanted to make sure that those without internet access were still able to articipate in the SR 20 Skagit River O’Brian Reach Floodplain Feasibility Study community workshop on June 1st, so they reached out to us to help make that happen!

We had a great turnout for the event and community members were able to ask WSDOT and the other organizations involved in the project some questions and gave them their thoughts on the way the project should go.

We just got sent the meeting notes and presentation slides from the hybrid-meeting, and WSDOT have updated their dedicated webpage for the project!

According to WSDOT “the study team is refining and summarizing the analysis and results of the study in a final technical report, which will be published in December 2023 on our study webpage.”

If you would like to ask WSDOT any further questions on the project or have any technical input you’d like to share, please email Jenni Dykstra, the Chronic Environmental Deficiencies Coordinator/Fish Biologist, at [email protected]
