Come hang out in our dedicated teen room!
While adults are able to browse and borrow books from our YA collection, this space is meant for teens and pre-teens. Sit down, find a book, and stay a while to read it. Come draw on our table! Play chess, play a game, use a computer, throw some magnetic darts, or work on a project or your homework. Chat with our teen librarian and maybe learn a new skill or make new friends during a program. The possibilities are endless!
Here’s some things you can do in our teen room:
What are community agreements?
Basically, they are things we all agree to do when we’re together that will help us communicate clearly and respect each other as we work and play.

Email teen librarian Chazlyn with your submission! Note that she may help you finesse it a little bit, and that’s okay!
I’m a social media nerd, so you’ll likely see me wandering around the building with my phone taking photos of everything or getting weird while filming a TikTok. Odds are I made that graphic, bookmark, poster, or video. I definitely sent that email. I hope you liked it! When I’m not working on marketing I’m probably getting ready for our next Teen Advisory Board meeting since I’m the teen librarian! I’m here to help design programs for teens, take care of the teen collection and space, and hang out with teens (and pre-teens!) I want to try to answer questions, recommend books, games, or movies, or just be a safe person to talk to!
