We’re going to end the week by celebrating the fact that we now have a newly updated, more transparent, and more robust Collection Development Policy!
We hope the new policy, now available on our policies page, will help patrons understand how and why library materials are selected for inclusion in our collection or not. A healthy collection has a diverse array of materials and is ever-changing and responsive to the community’s needs, and we know that this new policy will help guide us in our future purchases and help us explain the goals we have when making purchases.
